Terms of Service

1. The parties

These terms are between you (the Shopify merchant buying the install, “you”) and Connectera LLC (“we”, “us”). Connectera LLC is the owner and operator of ShopifyRanked (shopifyranked.com). Billy Reiner is the founder and the human delivering the install.

2. The service

The Catalog Readiness Setup is a one-time, fixed-scope install on your Shopify store. It covers the twelve deliverables listed on the install page and published on the homepage. The scope is what is on those pages on the day you pay. We may update the scope for future buyers; your scope is locked at purchase.

3. Price and payment

• Price: $499 one-time. The list price is $999; the launch price is in effect until the launch slots are filled.
• Currency: US dollars.
• Payment: via the hosted checkout link on the pricing section of the homepage. Card data is processed by FastPayDirect / GoHighLevel; we never see it.
• Recurring billing: none. You will never be charged again from this transaction.
• Tax: any sales tax or VAT applicable in your jurisdiction is added at checkout.

4. Timeline

The install ships in 7 business days from the day you grant Shopify staff access and confirm the kickoff email. We have 8 install slots per week; if all slots for the current week are filled, you join the next available week. Day-by-day breakdown is published on the install page.

5. What you provide

• Your live Shopify store URL.
• Shopify staff access with permissions for Apps, Themes, Online Store, and Content. Limited-duration staff accounts are fine; you revoke us on day 7.
• Permission to install the (free) Shopify Knowledge Base app on your store.
• Brand assets we ask for at kickoff (logo, primary product images, anything else listed in the kickoff email).

If you do not provide what we ask for, the 7-day clock pauses. We will tell you in writing the moment it pauses and the moment it restarts.

6. The 14-day Walk-Away Guarantee

14-day Walk-Away Guarantee. Full refund. No forms. One email.

For 14 days after install handoff (the day we deliver the Loom walkthrough), if you decide the install was not worth $499, email [email protected] with the subject line “Walk away” and we refund 100% of what you paid. No forms. No discovery call. No retention attempt. The deliverables we already installed stay on your store; you keep them.

The guarantee does not extend past day 14. After that window, refunds are handled case-by-case at our discretion, in writing.

7. Who owns what

• You own your store, your product data, your customers, your domain, and every change we make to them.
• The deliverables we ship into your store (PDP rewrites, schema, robots.txt.liquid, the Knowledge Base FAQ feed, etc.) become your work-made-for-hire on payment.
• We retain rights to our generic templates, audit checklists, prompts, and tooling that we use across every install.
• We may publish anonymous, aggregate before/after results (no store name, no PII) in case studies once your install has been live 30 days.

8. What we do and do not guarantee

We guarantee:

• The twelve deliverables ship inside the 7-business-day window from kickoff confirmation.
• Every change we make is reversible. The Loom on day 7 documents exactly what we changed.
• We do not push, install, or activate apps you have not approved.
• We follow Shopify's own SEO and Catalog guidance to the letter.

We do not guarantee:

• That your products will appear in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Google AI Overviews, or any other named AI surface. We make your catalog readable; the AI channels decide what to recommend.
• Specific revenue lifts, traffic numbers, ranking positions, or impression counts.
• That Shopify, Google, or any AI platform will not change its rules tomorrow. They will. We follow the rules that exist on the day of your install.

9. Stores we will not install on

• Stores selling content that violates Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy.
• Stores that are password-protected or otherwise not yet live to the public.
• Stores on platforms that are not Shopify (we are not migration consultants; we will recommend a partner if you ask).
• Stores where we cannot get reasonable staff access.

If we decline an install after payment, we refund in full inside three business days.

10. Limitation of liability

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms is capped at the amount you paid us ($499). We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or lost-profit damages. The 14-day Walk-Away Guarantee is your primary remedy if the install does not meet your expectations.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state and federal courts seated in Wyoming.

12. Termination

You can stop the install at any time inside the 14-day window for a full refund under section 6. We can stop the install at any time for non-payment, abuse, or material breach; in that case we refund any unearned portion. After install handoff, the contract is fulfilled; neither side can terminate it.

13. Changes to these terms

We can change these terms going forward by updating this page. The terms that apply to your install are the ones in force on the day you paid. We will email any material change to customers in flight.
