Pricing and scope
The short version: $499 once. 7 business days. 8 installs available per week. Twelve published deliverables, nothing else. No subscription, no retainer, no upsell ladder.
-
Is $499 a subscription or a one-time fee?+
One-time. You pay $499 once, the install ships in 7 business days, and you are never billed again from that transaction. There is no recurring fee, no retainer, no maintenance plan disguised as a "platform". The list price is $999; $499 is the current launch price. -
What's the difference between $499 and $999?+
Same install, same twelve deliverables, same 14-day Walk-Away Guarantee. $499 is the launch price for the first wave of installs; $999 is the list price that takes over once the launch slots are gone. The launch case-study stipulation (we publish anonymous before/after results 30 days after each go-live) applies to both tiers. -
Why only 8 slots a week?+
Because every install is run by a human, by hand, on your live store, in seven business days. 8 concurrent installs is the maximum we can do without dropping quality or sliding past day 7. We do not white-label, subcontract, or hand the queue to an AI agent that scrapes Shopify Help for you. When the queue is full, the queue is full; we say so on the install page rather than collecting deposits for an install we cannot deliver this week. -
What's NOT included?+
Anything that is not in the published twelve-step manifest is not in the install. Specifically: we do not run paid ads, we do not write a full blog content calendar, we do not migrate stores from another platform, we do not redesign your theme, we do not handle Shopify Plus enterprise workflows, we do not build apps, and we do not do month-by-month SEO retainers. If you need those, we will point you at someone who does them well.
Shopify mechanics
What changes on your Shopify store, what we touch directly, and what we leave alone. Every answer in this section cites Shopify's own help docs or developer documentation.
-
Do you need access to my theme code?+
Yes — Shopify staff access with permission for Themes is required so we can edit theme.liquid, install Product / Offer / Review / Brand schema, set up custom JSON-LD blocks, and audit robots.txt.liquid. Robots.txt.liquid in particular lives in the theme's templates folder and can only be edited through the code editor. 1
-
Will you change my PDPs without showing me first?+
No. Day 1 of the install is a catalog audit; you see every gap, every recommended rewrite, and every schema change before any of it goes live. Shopify itself warns that rewriting copy thoughtlessly hurts SEO, so we treat your top-10 PDPs as proposals first, ship them only on approval. 3
-
Do you touch robots.txt.liquid directly?+
We audit it, and if it has been replaced or hand-edited in a way that breaks Shopify's default rules, we restore the Liquid-driven template Shopify ships. Shopify's own documentation strongly recommends keeping the Liquid in place so the default rules update automatically; we follow that guidance, not the popular blog advice that says to overwrite the file with plain text. 2
-
What about apps I already use for SEO?+
We leave them where they sit unless they are actively breaking something. If a schema app is double-emitting Product JSON-LD on top of what your theme already emits, we resolve the duplicate — that is a real SEO bug. If an SEO app is producing meta tags Shopify already produces natively, we tell you so you can decide whether to keep paying for it.
-
Will you set up the Shopify Knowledge Base app for me?+
Yes. Knowledge Base is a free first-party Shopify app launched May 2025. We install it, review the auto-generated FAQs that pull from your language, shipping, return, and customer-account settings, override the ones that need fixing, and add a tight set of manual FAQs based on questions your support inbox actually receives. 4
AI shopping
Shopify Catalog, Knowledge Base, the Agentic plan, ChatGPT / Perplexity / Gemini / Copilot, and what 'visibility' actually means in 2026.
-
Will you guarantee my store shows up in ChatGPT?+
No, and anyone who guarantees that is lying. Shopify Catalog feeds eligible products into ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Shop, and other agentic storefronts — but Shopify itself states that you cannot opt out of Catalog, and AI channels decide what to recommend based on their own ranking. We make your catalog readable, complete, and AI-friendly; the AI surfaces decide what gets cited. 5
-
What about Perplexity, Gemini, and Copilot?+
Same answer. Shopify Catalog feeds all four — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google Gemini and AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot — plus the Shop channel. We test your store against all four during the install and again in the 30-day report. We do not buy ad placements; if we cannot get you ranked organically, we tell you what fields are still preventing it. 7
-
Does this work for Agentic plan merchants without a full Shopify store?+
Yes. Shopify's Agentic plan is a $0/month subscription for merchants not currently running a Shopify online store who still want AI-channel reach. It requires an external product URL on every product so the AI surface can deep-link to your existing site. We install on Agentic plan stores; the install scope shrinks (no theme, no robots.txt.liquid) and the price stays $499. 8
-
How long until I see results?+
Indexing for the SEO half typically completes 48 to 72 hours after sitemap submission, per Shopify's own documentation. AI shopping visibility lags that — Catalog re-indexing of edited products and the AI surfaces picking up rewritten descriptions can take two to six weeks. The 30-day report (day 37 of your timeline) is the first honest read on whether the install moved the needle. 9
-
What is “Shopify Catalog” exactly?+
Shopify's own description: "Shopify Catalog is a comprehensive global catalog of eligible products that are sold by stores on Shopify." It is the product-data layer that feeds the Shop app and the named AI channels (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot). Eligibility requires the Starter plan or higher, US/Canada shippability, no Unlisted products, and a price above $0. 6
Process and guarantee
How the 7-day install runs, what happens if your store is on Hydrogen or you need to migrate first, and how the 14-day Walk-Away Guarantee actually works.
-
How does the 14-day guarantee work?+
14-day Walk-Away Guarantee. Full refund. No forms. One email. For 14 days after handoff, email [email protected] with the subject "Walk away" and we refund 100%. The deliverables stay on your store — we do not undo the install. There is no form, no discovery call, no retention attempt. Full terms are on the /terms/ page.
-
What if my store is on Hydrogen?+
Hydrogen sites get a tailored version of the install. The classic theme.liquid edits do not apply, but the Catalog audit, product field completeness, Knowledge Base setup, AI prompt tests, and visibility report do. Shopify itself notes that some tooling (Grow SEO suggestions, certain theme-emitted schema) is not yet compatible with Hydrogen; we work around that.

-
What if I need to migrate to Shopify first?+
We do not run migrations ourselves. We will point you at a Shopify Partner that does, and the install starts the week your store is live on Shopify with at least a sitemap and Online Store > Preferences filled in. Migration redirect mapping is its own large piece of work; combining it with the AI-readiness install muddies both.
-
Do you offer ongoing support after Day 7?+
No retainer. The install ships, the Loom walkthrough lands in your inbox, you revoke our staff access, and you go back to running the store. If something Shopify changes breaks one of our deliverables inside the first six months, email us and we fix it — that is not a separate engagement. Beyond six months, fixes are billed at a fixed rate that we publish on request.
-
Can I see a sample audit before paying?+
Yes. The free Catalog Readiness Audit ships in 24 hours, run by a human, and contains a redacted excerpt of the same audit you would receive on day 1 of the install. After the audit you can decide whether to install yourself or have us do it.
Two next steps: a free 24-hour audit, or read the full install scope. The audit is free; the scope page is the same one paying customers see before they buy.
